Matthew Becker has been installing floors across the Okanagan for over a decade through Becker Flooring, hardwood, luxury vinyl, tile, and increasingly, concrete coatings.

Coating turned out to be a different trade. Different equipment: planetary grinders, dust extractors, shot blasters, moisture meters. Different chemistry, with pot lives measured in minutes and cure windows that do not care about your schedule. Different failure modes, almost all of them decided before a drop of resin comes out of the pail. It had outgrown being one line on a flooring company's service list.

So it became its own business, with its own name, its own equipment and its own standards written down where clients can read them. Same owner. Same phone answered by the same person. Same reputation on the line in a valley small enough that reputation is the only marketing that matters.

Matt quotes every job personally, runs the grinder, and is the person you call three years later when you have a question about a cleaner. We keep the crew small on purpose, taking fewer jobs and doing them properly is a business model, not a limitation.

We publish our prices, publish our process, and write the specification into the quote: the products, the coverage rates, the CSP profile, the film thickness in mils and the moisture reading we measured. That is not paperwork for its own sake. It is what lets you hold us to a standard and compare us honestly against anyone else.

And we will talk you out of things. Metallic in a working shop. A dark deck on a south-facing Peachland patio. A full coating system on a warehouse slab that only needs a densifier at a fifth the price. The referral is worth more than the margin, every time.
