The standard service area
Kelowna, West Kelowna, Lake Country, Vernon, Penticton, Peachland, Summerland, Osoyoos and Oliver, Salmon Arm, and Kamloops, one price list across all of it. A garage floor in Kamloops costs the same per square foot as the identical floor ten minutes from the shop, because mobilisation is already built into how jobs are priced.
How distance jobs are scheduled
Distance changes logistics, not price. Kamloops and Osoyoos residential work leans on the one-day polyaspartic build so a floor happens in a single trip, and multi-day systems are batched so the crew works consecutive jobs in the same area rather than commuting the highway twice a day. The quote explains the plan either way.
Commercial reach
Commercial and industrial projects travel further than residential ones, because scale absorbs the logistics. Winery corridor work through the South Okanagan, industrial floors in Kamloops, and larger contract work beyond the Interior, including Alberta, are quoted case by case.
Why pricing does not change with the drive
Mobilisation, crew, truck, grinders, extraction, is a fixed cost on every job, near or far, and it is already carried by the published minimums rather than being invented per postcode. Adding a travel surcharge on top of that would be charging twice for the same truck.
